October 23 2009 BMW London donates a used hoist for our project, Finally we do not have to lay on the cold concrete to work on the Targa car. Many thanks to the guys at that shop!
November 13 2009 Finally we're operational, thanks to the generosity of the local Snap On rep. He's allowing us to use his shop so we can set up the Hoist and start this build.
December 5 2009 After a long week at work all the guys got together today to start the teardown of the 6er. Guy, Rene, Alex, Adrian and Joe took the "Shark" by the horns and started the Teardown.
December 6th 2009 ... Doors, interior, Hood and Trunk have to go
January 8 and 9 2010 Finally we have time to get that engine out of the 6. Teardown of the M30 has begun... check out what's wrong with it's head,- no wonder it did not want to start!

February 2010, It was a bleak month for the Targa build team. As a result of a mutual decision by the team to scrap the build of the White 87 BMW 635csi, two of our team members pulled out of the project. So we found ourselves not only down on our mechanical luck but also short a mechanic and a driver. Fortunately the guys found a suitable replacement 6er, and then the team spent the first two weeks of March getting her ready for the street.
March 2010, Brakes Euro spec. M5 (E34), Suspension upgrades included Racing Dynamics 28mm front and 24mm rear Swaybar, Bilstein Shocks replacing the self leveling factory system , strut tower brace (Dinan) We're ready for some serious driving!

After a long delay of weekly medical treatments and specialist appointments for my wife, overload at work and sometimes just too absent minded to take the camera along, we're back at it.
